Microcredentials

Our microcredential series is an innovative professional learning model that includes short, competency-based modules to enhance the knowledge and skills of educators and allow them to demonstrate mastery in a particular area. This series consists of just-in-time topics that will positively impact any teacher’s teaching, and thus improve student outcomes. Whether you’re an apprentice teacher or in year 3-plus, completing one or all of these courses will enhance your craft. The course topics range from Creating a Positive Classroom Environment., to Classroom Management, to Instructional Best Practices. Upon the successful completion of each badge, attendees Upon successful completion, participants will earn a Region 4 Microcredential Badge. 

 

In addition, we are excited to launch a new Co-Teach Training for mentor/host teachers and apprentice/resident teacher interns. A total of 12 hours, this training will prepare teachers to effectively plan and facilitate instruction in a way that maximizes the strengths of both roles in one classroom. Topics include The Big 5 Deep Dive, Co-Planning to Co-Teach, and Communication & Collaboration, to name a few.
