Region 4 Teacher Apprenticeship and Residency Program

Program Overview

The Region 4 Teacher Apprenticeship and Residency program aims to strengthen, diversify, and stabilize the teaching workforce by recruiting and retaining aspiring teachers. Region 4 partners with school districts throughout the state to establish and sustain an apprenticeship and or residency program, while meeting the unique needs of each district community. Pursuing this program is an investment from the apprentice and or resident teacher, the mentor/host teacher, and the sponsoring school district as it creates a pathway into a thriving, well-supported teaching career.
