Student Evaluation

Region 4 Student Evaluation provides products, professional development, and technical assistance to local education agencies (school districts and charter schools) to assist in meeting federal, state, and local mandates for evaluation, reevaluation, monitoring progress towards IEP goals, and in determining effectiveness of the education program. Region 4 provides collaborative opportunities for evaluation personnel to network to review current topics, share promising practices, make connections to community resources, and share information with colleagues.

Child Find Flyer
Child Find is the affirmative, ongoing process of public awareness, coordination with agencies and primary sources, and screening procedures to locate, identify, and evaluate all children with disabilities from birth through age 21 who may require early intervention or special education services. Outreach or public awareness is an important responsibility of the public school district and public charter school . The school district (or charter school) should target a wide variety of people who may be involved with the education and/or care of the student. One way to carry out the public awareness is by posting and/or distributing flyers or posters with important information. Below are fillable Child Find posters that can be completed with the school district's (or charter school's) contact information.
