Region 4 Special Education Department provides districts, campuses and families with technical assistance, professional development and resources related to serving individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Professional development topics include:

  • Skill development for interpreters
  • Instructional strategies for the classroom
  • Student evaluation
  • Service delivery to children who are deaf and have additional special needs
