Delegation: The Role of the School Nurse- 2 NCPD hours (On Demand)!

 

Delegation: The Role of the School Nurse is designed to empower school nurses with the knowledge and tools necessary to effectively delegate tasks and responsibilities while maintaining the highest standards of care.
Participants will delve into the principles and practices of nurse delegation within the school setting. Through a combination of interactive lectures, case studies, and active learning, participants will explore topics such as:
  • Assessment of student health needs and delegation decision-making
  • Effective communication strategies for delegation within the school team
  • Collaboration with educators, parents, and healthcare providers in the delegation process
  • Documentation and accountability in nurse delegation
  • Accessing tools needed to assist with delegation decision-making
Participants will gain practical skills and confidence in their ability to delegate tasks safely and efficiently.

Texas Office of the Attorney General Parenting and Paternity Awareness (P.A.P.A) Course

Parenting and Paternity Awareness (p.a.p.a.) is an evidence-based, educational curriculum designed for young adults. It teaches them the benefits of waiting to become a parent until after they have completed their education, started a career, and are in a stable, committed relationship. The p.a.p.a. program is a way school districts can comply with state law requiring high-school health to include a parenting and paternity awareness curriculum."  View the Texas Office of the Attorney General's P.A.P.A. website here.
