Multi-Tiered Systems of Support

mtss-v2web-graphics

The Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) is a framework that schools utilize to support the whole child by focusing on evidence-based interventions to support students who are having difficulty with academics, behavior, or mental health.  The MTSS team will collect and utilize data for progress monitoring and decision-making to evaluate the implementation of evidence-based interventions and students' progress toward set goals.  The MTSS framework encompasses other utilized support systems such as Response to Intervention (RtI) and Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS).
