 Leadership Symposium | October 10, 2019

Our guest presenter, Dr. Anthony Muhammad, is CEO of New Frontier 21 Consulting and a highly sought-after educational consultant. He is a leading expert in transforming organizational climates, a bestselling author, and an award-winning educator. His Transforming School Culture framework explores the root causes of staff resistance to change.

Overcoming resistance to change is the most difficult challenge in leading school improvement. Discover how to support educators as they make this seismic shift in their practice!

Four critical leadership skills will be examined:

  • Communication (Why?)
  • Trust (Who?)
  • Professional Support (How?)
  • Accountability (Do)

Dr. Muhammad will help leaders to understand and examine the power of a balanced and methodical approach to change management which establishes a balance between support and accountability.

Leave armed and ready to transform school climate and culture, by understanding:

  • the leader’s role and responsibility in leading change;
  • the legitimate needs that have to be met before change can be expected; and
  • how to monitor change using a protocol that can greatly increase the likelihood of systemic implementation of the PLC process.
