Engineering Design Process (EDP) Quick Reference Guide
Engineering practices are embedded in the new science TEKS, but what does that look like in a science classroom? The Engineering Design Process Quick Reference Guide is an easy-to-use instructional resource designed to support teachers as they plan and facilitate engineering design challenges in the science classroom.
The guide provides:
Science 2021 TEKS Charts
Adopted TEKS 2021: Implementation 2024-2025
Each TEKS Chart is a foldout with pre-punched holes that fits into a three-ring binder. All of the science TEKS, including both science engineering practices; recurring, themes, and concepts; and content are captured in one place. Highlight TEKS by unit or reporting category. Easily examine vertical alignment. Educators have been known to hide, cherish, and highly value these easy-to-carry foldouts even if they own more than one!
TEKS Charts can be ordered in packages of 10 for elementary (K–5), middle (grades 6–8), or high (grades 9–12) school.
The updated Science TEKS Charts have a notation on the left-hand black margin that says Adopted 2021.
