The first portion of the workshop will focus on strategies to support K-2 readers. Participants will learn research-based multimodal strategies to support decoding, fluency, and comprehension of both literary and informational text. The second portion of the workshop will focus on writing strategies that support organization, elaboration, and mechanics. Get ready to leave with a wealth of new techniques to support learners with disabilities in the ELA classroom.
