The early childhood classroom of Pre K3, PK 4s, and Kindergarten should be filled with joyful learning. The learning environment should have play-based, developmentally appropriate activities that foster curiosity, social and emotional development, and prepare children for academic learning. This coffee talk will explore creating a teaching philosophy to guide teachers as they develop appropriate learning activities to teach the whole child.
