Overview

 

The Essential Action Lever Support (EALS) program equips districts and schools with:
  • Tools and strategies aligned with Essential Action 1.1 of the Effective Schools Framework (ESF). 
  • Systems to define campus leaders’ roles and responsibilities around instructional leadership.
  • Emphasis on the effective implementation of High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM) to drive teaching and learning improvements.

 

The success of instructional leadership hinges on the systems and expectations set by campus leaders. EALS focuses on systemic support and tools on:

  • Observation and Feedback Cycles
  • Data-Driven Instruction
  • High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM) Internalization

 

EALS-Aligned FLIPS offers training and 1:1 support with campus teams to strengthen the strong school leadership and planning practices and systems outlined in Lever 1 of the Effective Schools Framework.

  • Who Should Attend:
    • Attendance is required for all DCSIs and campus principals.
    • Participation in the EALS-Aligned FLIPS is not mandatory for charter districts, DCSIs, campus principals, and leadership team members; however the session is valuable in identifying priority practice areas aligned with your selected capacity builder
    • We encourage participation from campus instructional leadership teams to maximize the impact of this training.
