Digital Learning Conference

January 11, 2022

Reimagined, Reinvigorated, and Refocused!
January 11, 2022, will be an amazing day of professional learning as we get back to the basics. We are reimagining, reinvigorating, and refocusing instructional practices to support student success. The 2022 Digital Learning Conference (DLC) is designed to equip attendees with the digital resources and information needed to support solid, curriculum-focused instruction that is student centered.
genta-pic Renowned speaker, education leader, and author Monica Genta will be our keynote speaker who, new for this year, will be speaking midday. Genta’s goal is to transform teachers, leaders, and schools from seeing education as an ordinary job into an extraordinary adventure. Genta feels that every person who walks into a school deserves to love their experience! (See full biography here.)

Your day will be filled with breakout sessions centered around online/blended learning; library media services; leadership; special populations (ELs, G/T, special education); STEAM/STEM/CTE; and social-emotional learning. Sessions that support educator wellness also will be included because taking care of you is important, too! Secure your spot today and get ready for an exhilarating day of professional learning, fun surprises, and awesome prizes!

Join us January 11, 2022!
Session ID 1505258.

Reimagined, Reinvigorated, and Refocused!
We are preparing for a long-overdue, face-to-face event for administrators and educators from around the greater Houston area.* It’s a wonderful opportunity to exchange ideas, to form lasting partnerships, and to see and be seen!
And that’s exactly why Region 4 and its Publishing and Digital Learning Solutions team are inviting you to submit a proposal to present at this exciting event. Share your experiences, lessons learned, new ideas, and knowledge to reimagine instruction and reinvigorate and refocus educators who impact student learning and success.
Because today, all teachers are technology teachers, no matter the content they teach, presenters will be front and center with educators representing a range of subject areas, grade levels, and student populations. Library media services, leadership, online and blended learning, STEM/STEAM/CTE, and social-emotional learning sessions are on the schedule. Your audience will include K–12 educators and specialists, practitioners, administrators, community business partners, and university and museum representatives.
The purpose of this annual event is to expose administrators and teachers to the latest and greatest educational technology and innovative instructional practices. We want to keep teachers, students, and classrooms inspired by—and connected to—cutting-edge technology that guides them along a path to success in school. By students, we mean all students—ELs, G/T, SPED, regular ed., and more! In our view, all populations are special, and we exclude no one!
If our purpose resonates with you, and you are interested in sharing practical strategies, new ideas, classroom resources and curriculum, networking, and inspiring others, Region 4’s Digital Learning Conference is for you!
We sincerely hope that you are as excited as we are about this conference and will be eager to submit a proposal to be a presenter. Submitting your proposal is easy, and we encourage you to submit multiple unique proposals for consideration. In fact, we encourage you to share this invitation with your colleagues, too! The more knowledge shared, the more everyone benefits.
