Region 4 Teachers Named Finalists for 2015 Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching
Three teachers in Region 4 school districts were named state finalists for the 2015 Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST). This award is the highest recognition a mathematics or science teacher may receive for exemplary teaching in the United States.
As state finalists, the teachers will be considered for the national award, which will be determined by a panel of distinguished scientists, mathematicians, and educators.
