Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Institute
Learn strategies for partnering educators with parents and community leaders to positively impact student engagement and achievement. Participants will expand their knowledge with evidence-based strategies and research-based information designed to empower family and community members.

Anita Villarreal is the Texas State Coordinator for Title I, Part A with the Texas Education Agency. Throughout her career, she has focused on migrant education, parent involvement, and drop-out prevention programs.
Dr. Grace England, Ph.D., was an educational specialist for the U.S. Department of Defense, a special education director for Klein ISD, and an associate professor of University of St. Thomas. She created the state’s first early childhood intervention program, KEEP PACE, and Klein ISD’s Therapeutic Education Program.
