Join us for this three day leadership series to connect central office leaders and other T-PESS appraisers and provide systemic support. This series utilizes a leadership approach and is designed to refine a leader's coaching skills. It consists of a series of three, staggered trainings that will be conducted at strategic times during the year to allow leaders to refine their coaching skills and determine specific steps in providing principal feedback and building trust.

This Academy is designed for currently certified educators (K-12) who aspire to become school administrators. Participants will build competency in the Administrator Standards that are required in Texas Administrative Code 149 BB and will receive specific feedback on communication, educational leadership, and strategic planning skills as they apply to the role of the administrator. The Academy activities are designed to provide the bridge between preparation programs and the reality of the administrators' daily role. All participants will engage in a research-based program to develop a model of practice that can be applied in any administrative role.

This series is designed as a cohort of new principals to receive relevant, timely support in their new positions. Four lunch-and-learn sessions will be offered throughout the year to support first-year campus principals and assist them in the transition into their new role. Scheduled hot topics explored during each half-day sessions will include staff management, campus budgeting, evaluations, and accountability. Additionally, a problem-solving protocol will also be used in this roundtable series to support participants in trending hot topics. All participants will receive a resource book, and lunch will be provided.

Prerequisite: Participation in New Principal Cohort–Year 1
This series is designed to be a continuation of the first year cohort of new principals. Participants will receive relevant and timely information to support them in their second year as principals. Four lunch and learn sessions will be offered throughout the year to support second year campus principals and assist them as they continue their transition into the role of campus leader. Scheduled hot topics explored during each half day sessions will include staff management, campus budgeting, time management and priority setting, evaluations, and accountability. Lunch will be provided, and a resource book will be provided.
First-Year Assistant Principals Induction Cohort
Join us for a leadership cohort designed to meet the requirements of TAC 241.25 for first-year assistant principals. Participants will take part in a mentor/new administrator orientation session, four cohort training sessions scheduled throughout the year focusing on designated hot topics, and customized professional development and coaching sessions designed to support leaders in making the transition to administrator during the crucial first year. These sessions are scheduled at cohort sites throughout the region with support provided throughout the critical first year.
